Iron Man 3: What To Read: Extremis
I’m sure most of you have now seen Iron Man 3. I’ve received a mixed response from you on the movie, especially on the portrayal of The Mandarin. Having read a lot of Iron Man comics, I thought you may like to know what you could read to further your enjoyment and understanding of some elements of the movie.
The most obvious title is Extremis, a six issue run by Warren Ellis & Adi Granov. The Extremis story examines just how far Tony Stark is willing, or forced to go, when faced with a very different kind of enemy. It includes a very different portrayal of Aldrich Killian (compared to the movie) & exams Tony’s past as well as what he must do to deal with the future. Trust me, you’ll love it. More soon.
